Case Report of Voiding Dysfunction Treated with Korean Medicine in a Hospitalized Patient with a Herniated Intervertebral Disc

Objectives The purpose of this study is to report on the efficacy Korean medical treatment for voiding dysfunction. Methods We treated a patient with dysfunction using treatments (herbal medicines, acupuncture, and herbal acupuncture therapy). To evaluate results treatment, we measured international prostate symptom score (IPSS) visual analog scale (VAS) residual urination, dysuria, miction pain. general health status was evaluated European quality life-5 dimensions (EQ-5d) scale. Results observed improvements in IPSS EQ-5d after treatments.
